Welcome to Quantum Pacific, a proud family-owned company rooted in the heart of New Zealand. Founded 25 years ago by Barry and Leanne Robertson, our journey began with a simple yet ambitious goal: to provide high-quality cleaning products that are both affordable and effective for our fellow Kiwis.

Driven by a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of New Zealand consumers, Barry and Leanne set out to create products that would meet the needs of everyday households without breaking the bank. With determination and a commitment to excellence, our first venture, Active, emerged as a trusted dishwashing brand renowned for its quality and affordability.

OUR JOURNEY

Building upon this success, we expanded our product line to include Ceraclen, a specialty cleaning brand that has been designed to give a deep clean to some of the often-forgotten areas and appliances in your home.

As our dedication to innovation and sustainability grew, so too did our offerings, leading to the creation of Eco Planet, an eco-friendly household cleaning brand that reflects our commitment to a greener future.

In 2023, we proudly introduced Vamoose, a stain removal brand that produces the utmost highest quality results, all while remaining price accessible for our customers.

In 2024, we launched Laundromate, a sleek and modern laundry brand tailored to meet the needs of the new generation, combining style with superior performance.

Throughout our journey, we’ve remained true to our roots as a Kiwi Owned and Kiwi Made company, rooted in the values of integrity, quality, and affordability.

As a family business, we take pride in every product we create, knowing that it bears the mark of our dedication and passion for serving our community.

About the brand

Eco Planet was born when Barry and Leanne Robertson recognised the need to provide high quality cleaning products that protect our local environment and planet. Using plant and mineral based formulations, coupled with the latest technologies they created cleaning products that delivered a superior clean while upholding ecological integrity. Every formulation is carefully selected to be greywater and septic tank safe, while our surfactants are biodegradable, ensuring a cleaner ecosystem.

Our packaging captures the exquisite beauty of our native New Zealand birds. From the enchanting Tūī, to the majestic Kea, and even the elusive Huia (though sadly extinct), our packaging showcases the rich biodiversity of New Zealand. Through this visual storytelling, we aim to inspire all New Zealanders to embrace eco-consciousness and join us in protecting these magnificent creatures.

Our aromatic fragrances draw inspiration from the enchanting scents of New Zealand. From the delicate blend of Gardenia & Kōwhai to the soothing Lavender & Pōhutukawa and the invigorating Tarata & Kaffir Lime, we offer a journey that captures the essence of our beautiful homeland.

With all our bottles crafted from 100% NZ Kerbside Recycled plastic, we ensure that the plastic you dispose of on your kerbside collection finds new life in our products. With this approach we proudly contribute to reducing the importation of plastic into our country, preserving the purity of our environment.

The eco planet™ story

eco planet was born when Barry Robertson recognised the need to provide high quality cleaning products that are better for our environment while delivering outstanding cleaning performance.

eco planet products are made from plant based ingredients and are fully biodegradable. The bottle and label are made from materials that can be recycled together – simple.

Our eco planet cardboard cartons are made from recycled cardboard, and rather than having a throw-away plastic scoop we have designed one in the same cardboard to make things easier on you, and better for our environment.

One of the most important roles we play is keeping ourselves and our families healthy. As the use of synthetic chemicals has increased over the years, so have illnesses such as cancer, asthma and dermatitis – many experts see a clear connection between the two.

If we all help to educate our children and grandchildren now, they can pass on this knowledge to the generations to come, helping to protect them from the negative health effects that come from toxic chemicals and to protect our planet.

We aim to provide our customers with top quality products and innovation produced here in New Zealand for our local market as an alternative to the larger multi-national companies that produce generic products for a global market.
